The last of my Peter Lehmann Barossa Semillon 2009 is full of beeswax and lime marmalade with a hint of toast. Used to pick this up for a song in the supermarkets but not seen it around for some time. Went really well with king prawn balti

Semillon -Viognier Tasting (Le Petit Sommelier): Clean med+ intensity, citrus, pear and green apple, with a "green" character overall, developing. Dry, med-/med body, med intensity, med/med+ acidity, med- alcohol (10.50%), subtle light citrus and peach flavors with green apple and pear in the frame as well, steely med- finish. Very good quality, med/high price, drink now

Much more expressive compared to the 2010 drank some time ago, proving once again that these wines improve signifficantly over the mid-term (3 to 5 years). A lovely combination of citrus fruit, canned pineapple, white truffles and scents of asparagus on the nose. Medium-bodied and elegant with nice acidity and good length. Nice to find out that a low budget white has some aging potential.

Light yellow in color with some minerality and a bit of grass in the taste. Fills out with some pear and a nice acidity with a somewhat sweet after taste

Citrus and green fruits. Fresh but a little tart.
