Lacks acidity, as per usual for the grape, but has a pleasant, long aftertaste that does display some acidity. Really runs long and wild on the sides of the tongue - the finish is quite long. A great, textbook version of the grape. Very nice. |

Beautiful golden color with, on the nose and palate peaches, melons and citrus fruit, a nice minerality, adequate acidity with a slight touch of residual sugar (certainly not bone-dry) and a voluptuous long finish. This wine is already enjoyable now, but will improve considerably for many years to come. Prices of these wines are on the upswing, especially at the domain. I would advise potential buyers to look out for a reliable supplier in their own country: for this wine I paid 45,00€ (in 2021) in Belgium, while at the domain they are charging nowadays 60,00€ for the grand cru Furstentum of the less reputed vintage 2021! |

Had a sip from the glass and the rest was over vanilla ice cream. Lovely with dessert. Not enough acid (and or too syrupy) for stand alone, Im afraid. And Im generally pretty forgiving. A bit reminiscent of pedro ximenez I’m afraid (ie madierized and merely medium acidity). |

Med+ to intense white rose, dried peach, ripe pear, ripe grapefruit, lychee, honey & sweet spices. Off-dry, w/ the RS balanced by med to med+ acidity and a slightly bitter grapefruit pith finish. Med+ alcohol (13.5%), w/ a creamy, rich mouthfeel. Med+ to full bodied, w/ med+ flavor intensity and length. Drinking remarkably well at 7 years, it still has plenty of life left. Delicious by itself or w/ food, it paired well with spicy and fried oysters, green peppercorn swordfish, savory sriracha Brussels sprouts and other savory/spicy fare. |
