Great Vertical tasting of Krug 1985- 2003 (85 Magnum Collection, 1990 Clollection) plus a great blind tasting of Krug Rose with different disgorgements plus 1 phantastic pirat plus CdM 2000 und one old Grande Cuvee

Typical Krug perfume, Brioche, roasted hazelnut, creme brulee, vanilla, good acidity, for this hot vintage you can nearly call it elegant, the best 03 I had so far

Very intensive nose, a lot of acidity, some macadamia nuts, lemon cest, yuzu, salty, sure too young, not so impressive as the previous two ones, razorsharp clean and precise, vanilla, the acidity dominates the fruit, mighty body, at this stage a little bit closed, now 96 but potentail for 100 in 20 years

The best performance of this vintage so far, more roasted aromas than 03, biscuit, vanilla from tahiti, pure, clean, peaches, very balanced, at his peak, I would drink them over the next 5 years

AS the 1995 at his peak, honey, dried fruits as apricot, figs and dates, nuts, very balanced, creme brulee, vanilla, caramell, maybe the aciditycould be fresher. I would drink it now, it won't get better

The clear winner was 85 MG Collection, the 2002 with potential for 100, the best CdM 2000 I had so far, a phantastic Rose of Charles heidsick NV base 08 (97p), 89 and 95 from perfect bottles at their Peak, a great elegant 88
