This bottle did not resemble any of the others reviews. It was very light even after a hour + of air. The best way I could describe it was a light chard. It had decent acidity, some nice light fruit but left quite a bit to be desired. I am guessing that this bottle was not typical.

Wow, This was opened before I arrived and it was believed that it was bad so it was set aside. It had been opened a bit over any hour when I poured a glass expecting an oxidized wine. Wow this screamed beautiful chard! Classic white burg. Lemon, nutty, creamy with a bit of tropical fruits. This was WOTN against some pretty impressive competition.

I wish I would have had this with food. On its own the acidity stands out a bit to much. It is dusty on the nose and has light red fruits on the palate. Overall a pleasant wine that is decent for the price.

Took this to desception pass for our friends 11 anniversary. This was a nice blend of citrus and yeast. not overly toasty with some oxidation showing.

It has been a number of years since I have tasted the 77 Graham's, But Roy Hersh had called tonight and since I could not join him for dinner I decided to open this since I have never had it when he was not around. Yes it is still spirity but there is great fruit hiding there as well. Not much signs of age with no bricking. Not a dark as the Taylor or Fonseca. The finish very long. Decanted 5 hours.

Very similar to the bottle Eric had. Decanted for over an hour which helped this open up. Lots of tobacco and fruit with some hints of leather. Very good but not amazing.

Very nice. We drank this over two days with the first being the best. It opens with a bit of funk followed by loads of Strawberry and sweet cherries. Nice balance finish. This is a wonderful wine for the price.

What a beautiful nose of sweet red fruits and a hint of funk. Wonderful, thick mouth feel with plenty of tannins to cut through the alder planked copper river salmon we had with it. This seems to be just hitting its stride, and has plenty of life left.

This was a bit flabby and a bit sweet next to the Schaefer. Still very enjoyable if only lacking a bit of acidity.

Decanted for 3 hours, very fresh. High toned raspberry aromas fill the glass. The decanter was completely different being covered and pulled from the cellar, it showed more syrah character of roasted meats, sweet dark fruits and a bit of bramble. The finish has nice length and balance but could show a bit more tannin.

Light straw color with some small bubbles when opened. The nose is not overly expressive but with work there is hints of shower curtain, green anjou pears and granny smith apples. Across the palate is where this really explodes with green fruits and a wonderful acidity that balances the slight sweetness perfectly. What a joy to sip on.

Picked up a bottle after reading the hype on this wine. I decanted and drank over the following 4 hours. This is a dark brooding wine. It is still very angular and with some air showed bright red fruit aromas reminding me of a barrel sample. The palate has hints of sweet cherries which is followed by a moderately acidic finish that has medium length.

Espresso, wow this just screams of classic Monbo. Espresso, baking chocolate, and chocolate covered cherry aromas. Initially the tannis were very dusty and made the finish unplesant. As the wine warmed up they sweetened considerably and it was at this point I really enjoyed it. As we sat outside and it cooled down again I thought the dustyness showed up again.

Decanted for approx 4 hours and drank over the next 3. The nose was dominates by sweet cherries, followed by rasberry, and licorace. This is the 3rd time I have tried this wine and this bottle did not show the monster tannins of the last two. While they were there they matched the ny strips wonderfully.

Opened with to have along side a porterhouse. Massive wine, that is much better than any bottle I have had in the past. Deep dark color. Dark fruits, mint, sage with a hint of leather showing. Long finish with still some sweet tannins showing. This could have been mistaken for a very ripe bordeaux.

Quilceda release party. I had two tastes of this and each was very different. The first was very small and gave off very little. the second was a bit bigger and showed blueberry and violets. It has a great mouth feel and although the tannins are there they are not intrusive. This is the best young Quilceda I have had as yet, I cannot wait to see how it changes with time in a decanter.

This is more of a syrup than wine. Incredibly thick, blue and black berry overwhelm anything else. Inky black, in need of more time but is fun to drink now, just make sure you are not serving any other lighter wines with or after this.

Greenish blue color, weird aroma that I would have trouble describing... I announced I would take a picture and send it to the winery... then the entire group started to laugh. My wife and friends had drunk this when I was traveling and thought it would be funny if they refilled with colored water and recorked and recapsuled. Yes I was a bit taken back and really fell for it.

I was told this was Italy's version of Zin. That is not how I would have described it. It took quite sometime for this to open, it was very funky at first. After about an hour this opened and showed so fruits hidded behind the structure and earth. Its a nice wine that was much better after taking a bite of chocolate.
