A bit disappointing. This bottle was past maturity and lost the vibrancy. Enjoyable, but Raisin and prune notes too pronounced to be a great wine

Very good white Rhône wine. Combines minerality with floral and lychee notes. Has character for an entry level wine

At opening, the wine had strong funk smell ( no surprise for Cayuse wine), but after 90-120 minutes the wine opened up beautifully. Combines a masculine core of iron with feminine notes of violet and rose. Really unique and enjoyable wine!

Fantastic wine. I was quite nervous this would be over the hill or suffer from premox. But still vibrant and at peak drinking. Yellow Diamond color. Hazelnut, buttered toast, and light toffee notes.. Creamy texture and long lasting.

Light brick color. On the positive side, complex character with notes of cherry, cedar and earthiness. On the negative side, astringent and did not fully come together even after 2 hour decant.

Very enjoyable wine and good QPR in my view. Notes of white peach, apricot and quite floral with some of the petrol oiliness of Rhône whites.

Pleasantly surprised as this is still drinking very well. Fruit still vibrant combined with secondary notes from mature wine.

Very enjoyable wine. Similar to a CdP in term of grapes, but a bit softer and more feminine style

We were very nervous, but thankfully this bottle was still alive and drinking very well. Great Burgundy from reliable producer!

Fantastic wine. Fully mature in view of the group, but I am sure will last another decade or more. Really alluring aroma. Soft with blackberry and a little cedar. Lingering finish…sadly the last bottle

Very enjoyable. Nose of vanilla and subtle dark fruit. On tasting, Note of cedar, blackberry and for me a hint of blueberry. Peak maturity IMHO. Well done!

Very closed and acidic at first, but opened up nicely after 1 hour and double decant. Light color with brownish hue. Soft wine with complexity. Earthy notes with nice, subtle fruit character. Definitely at or slightly past peak now

Showing great at 15 years of age. Definite Northern Rhône inspired. Blackberry, dark plum with a good sense of terroir earthiness. Very enjoyable wine. Likely at peak, but o suspect could last for 5+ more years

Really unique and intriguing wine ( in a good way). Tasted blind, and would have never have guessed a Syrah (much less American Syrah), with exception of a slight Rocks funk on the nose. Notes of raspberry and a little blueberry, with a definite plus earthy terroir. Like Northern Rhône meets Burgundy.

First experience with Reynvaan, but I am big fan of Cayuse. Excellent wine. Initially a very barnyard funk nose that declined over time. Softer, more elegant style than I would have expected. Notes of violet, flint and dark cherry. Well done!

Perhaps this was just an off bottle, but very disappointing. Astringent with missing the ripe fruit of a good Sonoma Pinot. Drinkable but not enjoyable

It is not easy to make a great red wine in Japan, but this was very solid and enjoyable wine. Softer style than most Cabernet, and paired well with food

Fantastic wine that was a real hit for a Christmas dinner. Soft and feminine style with Perfect balance of fruit and earth. Not a traditional Italian wine, almost has some Burgundy characteristics.

DArk golden color that had us concerned about oxidization, but still vibrant. Butterscotch and full-bodied, but enough acid remained to make this really enjoyable

Wow! This wine definitely paid off the 20 year waiting period! Inky color and really alluring nose. Notes of violet, grilled meat, plum, and garrigue. What I love about wines from Thierry Allemand is they have any incredibly dinstinctive profile and sense of terroir. Bravo!

My first experience with this wine, and we really enjoyed. Proprietary blend with clear Syrah characteristics, but with softer plum and (and less spice) notes than pure Syrah. Medium bodied and soft finish.

Alluring notes of peach and limestone. Very nice wine, but certainly well short of what I would hope for in a white Hermitage. Missed the complexity and depth of flavor to be an outstanding wine.

Thoroughly enjoyable wine as usual from Foillard. Really pairs well with range of cuisine ( in tonight’s case chicken). I would be happy to drink this every week (which is perhaps one of the best compliments one can give!)

Lighter color than most American Pinots, but still a fairly full-bodied wine. Tight on opening, better after 1 hour decant. Cherry Notes and some complexity. Solid wine, Slight disappointment given price point.

On opening, I was very concerned about oxidation. Golden color, almost like a dessert wine, and nose was a bit dead. But this wine was stil very much alive. Complex, secondary flavors with some fruit still discernible. Great mouthfeel. Really enjoyed this wine. Impressive at 18 years of age.

Mature wine with soft tannins. Very enjoyable, but I was expecting more/ hoping for more given the great vintage and initial hype on release. Hard to imagine this will improve with more age.
