The wine had a good aroma and was dark in colour. The fruit flavours were not entirely pure and were slightly washed out by age. The wine was full-bodied and had a degree of light sediment. Heat from the high alcohol content was still there and interfered with the enjoyment of the wine. I would not keep any of these bottles any longer.

This wine had a pleasant but not fulsome aroma with notes mostly of dark berries. The wine was crimson in colour and clear. It was full-bodied , balanced with a nice firmness from beginning to end. Cherry was more apparent in the flavour than on the nose. The bottle was distinctly better than the 2008 which was consumed the previous day.

Unfortunately, I left this bottle too late. Aroma still there. The taste was a bit diluted but still very pleasant with notes of cedar on top of cherry. The colour was a tawney ruby. However the wine was a bit cloudy. Enough to make it close to opaque, affecting the taste and the enjoyment.
