This bottle over delivered. If you can find it for sub $40 buy it. My only wish is that I had more in the cellar. Holding my last for a few more years, no hurry.

I can't add to the already great tasting notes here. But, I will say if you can find this under $40 it is a steal. Drinking great now with some time and or decanting.

Really enjoyed this bottle (2nd of 3 bottles) with pork ribs and roasted potatoes. Opened with a shy but beautiful nose of tobacco and dark fruit. Great mid pallet good dark fruit again. The finish is really the best part. It just goes on forever and begs for another sip.

Loved it and drinks way above current inflation prices.

We really enjoyed this bottle. I feel this is still a great wine and our bottle was fresh and delicious. Lemon and brioche on the nose and great stone fruit on the palette.

Really enjoyed this bottle tonight. Properly cellared this wine is very nice. The rich red berry fruit is toned down and the tannins are relaxed but still there. All in all very nice bottle.

This bottle seamed young and the nose jumped at you even before it was poured. The wife and I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Not sure it's a great value at $90 but I have paid more for wine and gotten less. I would buy more if I could find it.

This bottle was just great. Drank with dinner then the wife and I had the last two glasses by the fire. No decant and total time open was about 4 hours. The last two glasses were the best. The nose has always been a little muted but the mid palette and long finish more than make up for it.

Much more this year, really enjoyed this wine. The wine has evolved and the finish is much better and longer. Only bad news is that it was my last bottle.

This is fantastic pinot noir and an incredible value.

Not dead at all! Consumed over several hours and it really shined at the end of the first hour. A dark straw color with tiny bubbles and that great nose that older bottles get. Think yeasty bread and some butterscotch. Was it worth the money..... yeah it was a great experience.

Consumed over two days. This is still young and needs to be decanted or consumed very slowly over one night. The first two glasses were tight without the great Quilceda nose, mid palate was boring and the finish short. Next day was a whole different story the nose was great and the finish seems to last forever. Give this bottle time in the cellar or some air time if consuming it in the near term.

Enjoyed with family from a magnum for Sunday dinner. This was my second and last bottle and it just keeps getting better. Drink now or hold if you can stand it!

I was not ready for how good this wine was. It is really singing or at least the bottle we enjoyed was beautiful.

I must say I liked this wine. It was better than earlier bottles of the 06.

This was a good wine, not sure if I would buy it again. Just a lot out there at this price point that I like better.

Do not just pop&pour this wine. I put is through a vinturi into my decanter. I had a sip then and the wine was closed off almost no nose and the palate was flat. Two hours later was a whole different story. The nose remained muted but it was much better and the palate was great with medium finish. My wife and I consumed the bottle over the dinner, lamb stew, and it continued to improve. This wine needs time so don't get in a hurry. It just kept me coming back for another sip!

Previous reviews have nailed it. I really enjoyed this wine with dinner and it only got better as the night went on. I'm looking forward to my next bottle and I think the wine will only get better with a couple of years on it.

This may have been a bit young but it was still awesome. The wine is everything a red burgundy can be and it is far better than most in this price range. Hold off for another year or two if you can but if you can't don't worry its still great, even young.

Drank this with a friend. Notes from memory, it was good but not great. The fruit was a little shut down or over powered by oak. Now my friend loved it but he wants more oak than fruit. I have a couple more bottles and I plan to let them sit to see if the oak settles down a little.

Celebrating the birth of our second child with Champagne and caviar. And this bottle could not have been better suited. This had all the right stuff, light citrus and melon with the yeasty bread goodness that only Dom can do. If you don't like this than you don't like Champagne!

Big nose with lots of red fruit but I found the palate a bit lacking and the finish is short. For the price I would say this is a good wine but there are so many others out there the same $ or less. I would not purchase again unless under $20.

Day one: the tannins are really firm and hold back the fruit.
Day two: the wine opens and the tannins relax showing the true beauty of the this wine.

Bottom line, plan ahead and give this a decant and several hours and you will be rewarded.

Great PQR for $15 this is a great bottle!

Really nice with leather and good mineral nose. Black fruit and a medium finish would have scored higher with a longer finish. But this is a great CPR a steal at $17.

A surprise and pleasantly so, this wine has changed for the better. My last bottle all oak and more oak with harsh tannins. This bottle was much better the oak was there just not so over powering and the tannins had softened. We had this with homemade pizza and it paired beautifully.

May be a bit young. Its good just not complex enough to give it a higher score. Great nose but the finish is just not there.

Opened and sat in the bottle for 30 minutes. Paired with a ribeye for myself and a lamb chop for my wife plus grilled veggies. We really enjoyed this wine. The nose was closed but opened more as the night went on to reveal dark fruit. We sipped the wine through dinner and into the night, the tannins are there but not pronounced and the oak is just enough.

A great wine, just give it time to open up!

A nice wine, not great but good. I found the nose to be good with dark fruit. The mid pallet ends with a green note that isn't desired. The finish was ok around 10 seconds. This wine could be better but for the price it was a great drink on a cold, snowy afternoon.

This was really good. Had this with a duck breast and it paired beautifully. This had a good nose, nice fruit through the mid (it was a little lacking here) but the finish just got better with every glass. Drank over 3+ hours.

Drank with a nice rib-eye. The wine was smooth and elegant. The nose was a little closed and it never really developed or the score might have been higher. Very enjoyable wine for the price!

Drank this Saturday with my wife, had with lamb stew. I didn't have high hopes for this bottle because my wife had made several moves with the bottle and it was well traveled and not always well cared for. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I opened the bottle and let it breath for two hours and then put each glass I poured through a vinturi. The nose was a little closed but it was still there, dark fruits and ceder. Great feel in the mouth with many layers and the fruit just in the back ground. A good finish but it was a touch short. I only wish I had another bottle or two!

Drank with family over the holidays and wasn't sure what to expect because I got the bottle at auction. Wow! This was a great bottle. Beautiful ruby color, just a little sediment. No decant just pop and poor, the wine had a little funk on the nose that left quickly. It was good and the first sip and just kept getting better.
