Decanted for 90 minutes. Awesome bouquet, amazing texture and body, great length ! This wine will be a 98/99-pointer in 5 years. So much elegance and class (despite the relatively high 14.50% alcohol)...
It paired perfectly with rack of lamb.

This is a MONSTER Rioja, has A LOT to evolve. Decanted for 3 hours and was still very closed. It is WAY TOO EARLY to drink this wine now. Wait at least 3/5 more years.

No decanting, but was great w/ steak. Drinking now as good as any high-quality bordeaux. Has reached peak, and will not last as long as I had imagined, though. Getting brownish and "dirty". DRINK NOW !!!

Needs long decanting time at current stage. It is a tannic monster in the first 3 hours, gets smoother by the 5th/6th hour. Very good, will develop with time. Full bodied. A bit too oaky, though. Do not drink this wine unless you can decant it for 4/6 hours AT LEAST, or you be wasting your money.

Excellent ! Decanted for 4 hours, opened up amazingly. This wine should peak in 2 years, will last for another decade for sure. Big nose, medium to full body, long finish, A LOT of elegance. MUCH better than 1 yr ago ! ready to drink if properly decanted. Lots of very dark sediment.

DO NOT DRINK THIS WINE NOW ! way too early. wine is actually closed, completely shut down. will take some long years to emerge. Decanted for 5 hours and did not open AT ALL ! Muted. should evolve to a mid-90s wine ?

This wine will EITHER develop A LOT MORE (?, at least I HOPE !!!) OR GV was out of his mind when he said this wine blows CLIO away ! A HUGE disappointment, decanted for several hours and nothing really improved. Already tried 2 bottles with same results. Dry, tannic. Still have 22 bottles to go !!!!!! Anyone interested ??
