Perfection. Never had Cade reseve before. Been sitting on this bottle for years. Way better than beringer private reserve or Mondavi.

This is one of the best Napa cabs I have ever had. Will seek again.

Nowhere near as good as their reserve wine. I would not buy this again overvalued. Will stick with their higher end juice.

Near perfection. Paid $200 cad for this recently and worth every penny. Better than Faustino. God 2001 was such a special vintage in tbis region of spain.

This still has super strong fuit. Sour cherries that still come together with a long smooth finish. Spectacular tannis. And it all comes together.

My guess is this wine last another 30 years.

This is a beautiful wine. Creamy mocha. Long silky finish. Alcohol well balanced with acidity. I suspect this wine will get even better in a decade or more.

I love this wine.

Out of this world good. The most silky smooth tannins. Delicious fruit that explodes on your taste buds

One of the best Bordeaux I have tasted never even heard of this wine maker. Got this from a friend.

Outstanding I have never had a bad bottle of Tom’s wine. They are built to age. He uses new barrels every year.

Smokey chocolate finish tannis really good. You can tell he uses nothibg but high end friut. They are really good 10 years in. But like beringer private reserve, even better 15-20 years in.

Outstanding. But for price I find colgin jist as good. Same with beringer private reserve.

But this is great stuff really smooth silky finish. Noting harsh alcohol was perfectly balanced.

I could drink this wine often, it were not for the price

Really good. And you really can age this wine. This is the best I have ever got out of this vintage. No hurry on my last few bottles. Sometimes it’s nice to go back to where most of us start, Shiraz!

Not enough fruit. Just lacking anything special.

Way past prime. Lots of barnyard funk but not enough fruit left to satisfy me. My first experience with aged dunn. I fear I waited to long to drink. Unlike ridge monte bello, which hits its stride 20 years in.

Nothing special. I have never had aged beaucastel. Was hoping for more as I have lots of younger vintages in my cellar.

Not as much barnyard funk as I would expect like younger in aged Brunello or aged bordeaux

Flawless. They don’t come better for my taste. Paid 600$ cad for this at auction. Worh every penny. Lots of fruit left which is well balanced with alcohol. Tannins very chewy and pleasant.

Barn yard funk happening now. If I was on an island and only had one wine, ornellaia would be my go to.

Never disappoints. Could probably use a few more years maybe another decade before it really hits its stride but man is really good right now. People on CellarTracker have no idea how good a California cab can be when it’s aged as long as it’s high-quality. I find the comments on CellarTracker a joke actually. People have no idea what they’re talking about.
I put this right up there with dunn Tom Eddy, nickel and nickel, maze, cade, and colgin. anytime I buy wine at an auction I look for berringer private reserve. It was much cheaper back then and the prices you pay at an auction or pretty much what you pay right now for a brand new bottle.

Quintessential Napa fruit. Never had one of these chimney rock high end cabs. I put it in the same category as Behringer private reserve or Mondavi private reserve. Or even Groth reserve. About the same price range may be a little cheaper and I will put the quality just a Hair below all of those. I would buy this again. Really nice 10 years in. Really nice aftertaste little bit of tannins. Intoxicating nose of candy cotton and a little bit of chocolate. My wife picked up a little pepper although I didn’t. All in all not a bad one not sure it’s worth $177 CAD

Really good fruit balanced well with smooth tannins. Tertiary flavours starting to develop. Will sit on my last two bottles until the end of this decade.
