2004 - 2007 Vertical, preference order was 06 (surprising), 07, 05, 04
Overall not one of them jumped out, fairly disappointing as their base 07 drank better than any of these

VERY disappointed, I savored an older vintage of this and it blew me away. Perhaps this was an off bottle or just not an ideal vintage, but totally lacked the luscious yeast I recall from my prior bottle

Disappointed I own 2 more of these

Drinking amazingly well right now immediately upon opening, not sure I will hold the rest of my bottles much longer

Disappointing, find the fruit bright and tart, lacks depth. If this is really worth $105 I'd sell all my remaining bottles

Gorgeous straight out of the bottle, unfortunately it developed a VA quality to it after being open for 2.5 hours. The 91 reflects what I thought of it during its first two hours. I'd might even consider it a 92, but couldn't go over the odd transition for such a young wine. Having said that it rocked for an under $30 Barolo.

45+ second finish, was very approachable straight out of the bottle but shined after 2 hours of air

It took a while to come around. Initially the acid overpowered everything; but after a few hours of air this rocked. I'll hold off for another year or so before I open another

Drinking amazingly well right now, but still several years ahead it. Awesome job Trey considering you had to source the fruit in 04

I have not enjoyed the last few bottles of this due to overpowering wood. BUT the wood seems to now be well integrated with the fruit making this much more harmonious than it was earlier. I would put this in a drink me know to a hold for another year or two category.

I prefer a softer Pinot and this was very "un-07ish" for my palate. Not a bad wine, just a bit big for an 07 which is a WV vintage I really love

Drank against 2006 Ken Wright Carter and 2006 Ken Wright Guadalupe. All three of these wines are a bit bigger than I like for Pinot, but of the three the Looney was clearly the better balanced wine. Also drank an 07 White Rose Quiotee's Lair which was by for the best wine for my preferred style of Pinot. I'd score the White Rose a 92-93.

Drank against 2006 Ken Wright Carter and while this was still big (MUCH bigger than any other producers' Guadalupe) it's much better balanced than the Carter. Also drank that night were 07 White Rose Quiotee's Lair and 05 Archery Summit Looney. I'd score the White Rose a 92-93 with the Looney being a bit big for me but a solid 91

Too young, but great acid with very strong lemon curd and a subtle trace of petro which was a bit stronger on day 2; if I owned more I would hold for a few years
