very wild and exotic, unfortunately my last bottle. just entering it's peak and will easily last another 10 years, this is poor man's cheval blanc

This wine is just starting to peak and come together, while not the most complex of wines, this has a very harmonious feel about it, nicely put together

tested from coravin, conservatively made wine, can't fault it, nicely balanced, ready to drink though it will hold for 3-5 years easily. wine is surprisingly light for a 2015

sampled via coravin. surprising backbone to this wine, still evolving, not to touch for another 2 years

sampled a little using coravin, the wine is at the moment resembling a NSG, more tannins and acidity than I am used to in a volnay but the winemaking of jadot seem stuck in time, rustic and terribly hard to predict evolution.

for the moment, I would say that if this wine doesn't come together in 5 years then it probably never will.

it's not a bad wine, just doesn't feel like a volnay but as with many wines of jadot, I get proven wrong ever so often

this has always been a wine whose evolution baffles me. once again, the new batch tastes thin and and slightly effervescent, seems to need time to settle. the last batch I had evolved into a different animal after 4 years, it seems to have the ability to put on weight. let's see how this vintage turns out ...

1994 Château Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
micro test taste via coravin dispenser, the wine is still not near full maturity, complex and very broad, while already drinkable, it would be a waste to touch this before another 10 years

this is crazy, the wine is only starting to emerge from it's dumb phase, would recommend decanting two hours ahead.

this wine will only start to mature in another 10 years, unbelievable structure

tested a small serving from coravin, nicely browned, tannins finally softened to a reasonable level but still has much bite. again i am not sure if this is ever going to balance out, this is very closed on the nose and yet very much tannic still on the palate, keep for another 5 years ?

8 years after my last tasting in 2010, i still don't know what to make of this wine, if it's a dumb phase, it's an awfully long one. tannins seem more pronounced than before and I'm not sure if there's enough fruit to balance out. this is an unusual expression for this estate.

still a lovely wine to drink and i may have unfairly judged this wine due tomorrow the vintage and it's heritage.

with jf at sin hoi sai. this wine is driving me nuts, every bottle I opened to date varies wildly despite being from the same case. no premature ageing here and holding up beautifully, wine is still closed through it is no longer as tart as it used to be. must resist temptation to open this frivolously .... this has life .... easily another 10 years

unusual flavour profile, initially one dimensional but gained weight over the evening, almost like a gamay cru, potential to be complex, popped too early

this was the most fruit driven ostertag of the evening ostertag single vineyard rieslings, very direct & likeable, if not a llttle one dimensional but ageing remarkably well, still ridiculously fresh. 10 years' cellaring would not be out of order.

i don't noe what to say, this one blew me away, beautiful on the palate though it feels a little unstable, slight fizz, hopefully not a sign of refermentation as no sulfites were added to kill it

young, secondary flavors only developing, this has life

this is an impressive wine considering it's hierarchy within the mitjaville stable, dense, well balanced and still tannic, this wine is showing how kind the 2009 vintage can be, it will only start to mature in 5 years and hold for quite a few more
