Gorgeous and kept on going down smooth after an hour of decanting. Light and velvety tannins. Polished body and refined. Crisp acidity with earth tones with hints of berries, lanvender, etc. Love this for a $50 Brunello.15.5% alcohol volume..burn or hot..go easy with this one and take your time with it over an hour or two.

Blah...the acidity a little too much for me. Probably won't try again.

Too young to open. It was good, especially after an hour, but I would hold a little longer.

Gorgeous!!! I love most everything that comes from this colossal historic vineyard. Earthly but light...Sangiovese. Floral and stays on the palate a bit. Silky tannins. It’s a must have.

Can I say absolutely gorgeous!!! Some tobacco to leather hints. Blackberrys maybe...Earthy. This 15 year old seems perfect for opening...decanted for two hours and it opened up nicely. Dark ruby with very long legs. I so recommend this wine and vintage if you can find it.

I really enjoyed this reasonably priced Brunello. I have tasted more expensive Brunellos that were not as good as this one. Very nice finish but was light and gone with not much tannin left on the pallet. A little bit of cherry, espresso, oregano, aged balsamic, and leather. Some say fig, but I didn't get that. This Sangiovese was nice and was perfect to open for Thanksgiving.

I don't buy French wine very often. This was a little too "spicy" for me but it was still good. I was hoping for a nice French wood barrel hint but I didn't get any. I think I will stick to my Italian and California wines that I am accustom to and leave the French to the baking only.

I don't have notes on this one as I am backdating one of my favorites from that trip to Italy in 2009. I just remember we brought this back, kept it for a few months, and loved it.

I am back dating this so hard to remember tasting notes, but I do remember it was awesome and one of the best from that region that we tried in Italy on our trips.

I love it. I opened up in 2018 and could use another year or two but still good. Very light bodied, clean style, chocolate tannin, smells like from steel barrels and not oak, plummy aroma.

I let it breathe and decant for an hour and still nothing. It’s past it’s prime. If you own it drink it now.

Nice body...beautiful tannins. It is time to open if you haven't. I am not sure how much longer it will hold. I get a hint of blackberry or cherry. Very chewy and long legs. It stays with you and last awhile. Higher alcohol content than usual 15.3%. I love this one but this vintage is about out.

I finally found a Trader Joe’s wine that is actually drinkable. Usually, I can’t stand the TJ wine but this one is actually good for its price.

I don’t know to characterize it. I think this could be saved a little longer like drink it 2019 - 2023. I liked this the best of all the wine there at this vineyard. Very “fruity”, light, without lingering tannins. Save this a little.

Ahhhh now that’s nice. I decanted for about an hour and it is sooo silky smooth. Opened up after 7 years. Dark burgundy color. Nice on the palette but didn’t stay too long. Nice nose more fruit than floral....a little Opulent and Powerful.

One of the best under $30 that I have had. This is light Rosso with beautiful flowery and fruity notes. Tannins stayed with you a little afterward. Lovely wine for the price...thanks to Cana Wine Company.

This was not as good as the 2013 vintage of this wine for some reason. Check my thoughts on 2013 and get that one instead of this 2014.

Very light in color but this is a different Verietal (Nebbiolo) than I used to. Lighter in color...could age another year. Nose has some raspberry and floral notes. It tasted wonderfully...a little on the lighter side. Had some tannins. Not complicated but lovely taste.

I love the nose on this. It’s a different varietal and worth the try. My wife thought it was a little “tangy” but I can’t put that in wine tasting terms. Still young and lighter burgundy color. No tannins. Good table wine.

I will say that I was a little disappointed in this. I saved it up for a big event and had it with lamb on Easter. It was a little "spicier" than I expected out of a Barolo and not as smooth as I have had.

I was a little disappointed as I bought into the hype at the wine store. This definitely needs to sit a year or two. This light ruby red was a little "watered down". It had a beautiful aroma though but the taste fell short for me.

This vineyard has my most favorite white wine...but I was disappointed in this red. It went well with the steak though. Fast legs at first but had secondary legs slower and sugary. pH level seems to acidic for me.

This is a pretty good for a French white. Good with spicy chicken, acidity type dishes, etc. This could be good with a tart or a dessert or cheese with a bite. It stays on your palette for a bit after drinking it.
