Still at an early stage of its projected range, it's youth shows early while across two hours it opens into a luscious, mouth-filling joy.

A marvelous Echezeaux! Singing even now, one wonders just how indescribably good it will be across time.

Very nice right now, very drinkable, though more time in the bottle will surely improve it--strawberry, black cherry, mushroom blend that nicely lingers on the mid-palate.
Red
No, nothing fancy here, but performing comparably to its $ range. Perhaps we drank it rather too early.

The wine is drinkable today & may improve over three or four years, but pricey for what it delivers.

As big as you expect an excellent Burgundy can be, with multiple dark fruits and secondary tastes; delicious now yet on the way to a still smoother texture and enhanced charm.

This particular bottle, while very smooth and quite good, had transitioned beyond the point of tasting glory that it showed a few years ago. It's probably a good idea to drink em pretty soon if you have em.

This is drinking fine right now, as a little tightness that characterizes a sip from the first-poured glass gives way in a few minutes to the smoothness of a nice Burgundy.

May be about to start the wind down, but smooth & delicious was this bottle, with the typical barolo features. I'll wait about a year to drink my lone remaining bottle of a case.

Drinking nicely, smooth & crisp, with time for some evolution. Slight smokiness--very slight and appropriate--that underlies the delicate finish. Rises to its provenance. Will seek more of this.

Been 4 years since last--still wondrous. WOTN among 7 other fine Bordeaux. Smooth and tasty, w the usual Cos markings. Having started w an '06 and going thru an '08, both outstanding in their own right, the qualitative advance was highly conspicuous.
