slightly off nose which persisted
White
Crisp, clean, good body, bright acidity. Citrus & some stone fruits. Neutral oak. Delicious.
White
Great acidity throughout, well balanced fruit of citrus & stone fruits. Noted cooler climate body & texture, lovely & delicate. Excellent with food as the acid stands up well. Impressive
White
Well balanced with good acidity throughout. Stone fruits & citrus along with oak presence. Everything is there but not at the level expected for the price point. Tough QPR, as these prices have soared.
Red
same notes as previous
White
Great acidity, med+ level. Body a bit understated, perhaps med- level. Lots of citrus & stone fruits on the nose along with some slight reduction. Good food wine
White
Powerful wine, lots of fruit on the palate. Citrus but also stone fruits, bright acidity. Noticeable oak throughout. Grassiness of Sauv Blanc more difficult to detect because it is such a big wine.
Red
At about 10 years of age this wine still needs time to evolve. Still primary with lots of power. Everything is there, it just needs time.

Thin, unstructured, almost watery finish. Lack of minerality or character. Disappointing.
Red
1982 Lyeth Meritage Sonoma County Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Excellent condition. Aging fruit but still has sweetness and soft tannin structure. Not at all faded.
Red
Bold fruit, elevated alcohol
White - Sparkling
Clean, crisp, wonderful bouquet. Excellent with oysters.
Red
Medium body of black & red fruit. Medium tannin. Could use 5 years.
Red
Fruit forward, big wine. Tannins a little too light, could use a bit more grip.
Red
Mature body, bricking. Structure on the finish, needed time to open. Much better the next day when it has smoothed out.
Red
Sophisticated nose of black fruits & delicate oak. Opaque, rich full body of black fruits. Fine integrated tannins. Med+ finish. Ready now or can cellar for a while
Red
Still retaining jammy fruit with some stewed character. Tannins are still strong, wonder if they will ever soften.

A balanced wine but just not enough fruit on the palate. The bouquet was muted, should have been more expressive. Finish a bit short with tannin and dryness.
Red
Great fruit on the body throughout, fully integrated tannins. Complex nose, a touch of basement (not bret). Med- finish, a little truncated.
Red
Still retaining a dark core of fruit, would not have guessed this to be a 60 year old wine. Elegant throughout the palate but left wanting for more complexity on the finish. Overall very nice.
Red
Mature color of orange/rust/red-brown. Light body, elegant on the palate. Good acidity, nice finish but fruit has faded.
White - Sparkling
Crisp & clean, tight bubbles. High- acidity with good body. Excellent wine paired with seafood.
White
Stone fruits and neutral oak on the nose. Good core of fruit in the palate. Needs a bit more acidity on the finish. Fine wine
Red
Core of dark fruit, concentrated. Fine tannins, med acid. Lacks complexity on the finish though.
Red
Core of dark fruit, concentrated. Fine tannins, med acid. Lacks complexity on the finish though.
Red
2014 Château Monbousquet St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Solid tannins with med red/black fruit on the body. Not as concentrated as some higher classe wines, but still very solid wine for a much lower price. Sleeper of the tasting.
Red
Well structured, med- tannins, med acid. Bold dark fruits on the body, med finish. Needs more time though.

Red
Lots of bold fruit, fine tannins. But lacking in structure on the finish. Really expected more from this wine of mountain fruit.
Red
Solid wine with good expression, bold fruit, fine tannins. Perhaps a bit greedy but expected more from this storied winery.

White
Solid acidity, high- level. Not giving away too much in the bouquet, expected more expressive notes. No hints of typical reduction. Light+ body, good finish. Nice wine for food.

White
Great acidity throughout, med+ to high-. Light body of citrus. No significant reductive hints on the nose, not really giving off much floral character. Certainly a food wine.
Red
Rich black fruits and green notes/bell pepper on the palate. Med tannins on the finish, a bit too youthful still. Will wait 5 years and come back to it.
Red
2019 Arkenstone Estate Howell Mountain Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Rich, full body of black fruits. Great tannins but need more time to resolve.

Red
Young but drinking well. Deep, rich body of black fruits. Great structure of acid, tannin, alcohol & fruit. Oak on the nose but not overbearing. Perhaps a bit of phenolic bitterness on the finish, likely to integrate over time.
White - Off-dry
Floral nose with obvious reductive notes indicative of a high-quality Mosel Riesling. Rich body, excellent acidity, well-balanced sweetness without being too sweet. Long finish (high-) that lingers. Very nice

White - Off-dry
Reduction, petrol, citrus fruit. Zippy acidity on the palate balanced by some slight sweet flavor. Med- body, lemon zest and citrus. Med finish. Maybe a bit of phenolic bitterness on the finish? Undecided...
Red
Wow! Dark color with only hints of bricking. Great fruit on the palate, still very lively. Tannins totally integrated, good acid balance. Med+ finish of sweet, aged fruit.
Red
Double decanted 5 hours prior to consumption. Very light color of red-brick/orange. Surprising how elegant the body is given the light color. Nose of well-aged, mature nebbiolo as expected. Totally integrated tannins. It won't improve but is good now.
Red
Fully mature showing oxidative, aged notes as expected. Tannins totally integrated, smooth body. Medium+ finish. Great acid. Double-decanted 5 hours prior to consumption.

Red & black fruits compose a wonderful full body balanced by good acid. Detectable alcohol on the palate, definitely a ripe wine. Drinking well now.

Great fruit, very well balanced. Core of minerality coupled with good fruit palate makes this an enjoyable wine with or without food.

Tough, astringent finish. Imbalanced. Muted nose, fruit is faded on palate. Not very enjoyable for a Burgundy and certainly not for a Clos de la Roche.
