One of the best nose I've smelled. Uniquely soda like (cherry cola, root beer, very distinct and persistent. Some aging color. On the palate, bright and complex. Good fruit and terroir. Probaly good for another 3-5 years

Had with Easter feast. Purchased the bottle during our honeymoon in napa at the actual winery in 2003.

Good fruit, settled texture, complex, cigar box, maybe some rose pedals. Good time to drink, but don't wait too much longer.

Enjoyed w/ wife and family

Lush and very settled from the aging. All signs of aging are here from the nose and taste, in a good way. Smokderig bitter chocolate, fruits with vanilla. Silky and long. Perfect to drink now.

Lush, yet crisp. Great nose with powerful white fruits. Stony, fruity, crispy, and sweet. Great body and length. Can't say enough good things. Had lots of kistlers and this is one of the better ones. Very good now, perhaps better to enjoy now

Drinking wonderful now. Rich old school bdx like with nose and palate. Balanced with rose pedals, sweet cigar, bitter chocolate, with enough fruit. Tannins are present but very silky due to aging. Had the CA vanaCouldn'the a good way. Couldn't get enough. I would say this year is the sweet spot

Mineral tones with soft texture. Cherries linger throughout tasting, with some spice toward the end. Enjoyed with fathers day dinner of salmon and steak. Good Pinot and has a good 2-4 years left. This bottle was better than the previous

Very light and loose, in an aged way in both appearance, nose and palate. This is the second bottle with lots of clear sediment. Muted and tart flavors followed with some baack ground of spice and mint. Have one more bit not ntemding to hold too long

Graphite, stones, mineral with some fruit. Seems like it's still "asleep" as it was a little under whelming. Will give a few more years

Daughters birth year for her preschool graduation dinner. After one hour, super silky and balanced with dark fruits, cedar, and vanilla. Still has lots of structure for another five to ten years. Very enjoyable

Did not look like a six year old wine. Amazing on the nose. On the palate, good fruit and comlexity. Good time to open since Pinot sweet spot is six years!

Still tart and acidic. There was a nice balance of fruit and layers of complexity. Maybe too young?

Nose: sweet wilted flowers, leather, cigar box, and lots of fruit
amber in color
taste: smooth, complex, with various layers of old Bordeaux qualities. Slight port like with the sweetness. Very tasty and good, not muted like some younger Bordeaux I've had. Nice balance of fruit, leather, and cigar box w/ earthy textures. Very good.

Not as good as the first bottle I had earlier this year. Still has lots of fruit and good balance of flavors. Just not as persistent and smooth. Still good for the price. Will try again later

smell of stones and dark fruits. Almost like CA syrah nose, but w/ deep stoney, minerals. Teste - Big, smoldering, fruit (almost burnt), with long lasting complex finish. Very good. Will mellow with w/ more bottle age. Good to drink now, but should last for another 5 years +.

loads of fruit, cedar, and floral. Supple, spicy, complex, oak, and dark fruits. Still a bit tannic. Surprise for 2000 how much fruit, and tannic were left. GOOD. May have a few more years left, but better to drink now.

enjoyed w/ ribeye and shrimp - dense, and powerful, yet elegant and not over powering. Fruit presence but not much (not in a bad way), more balanced w/ mineral and cedar. Long caressing finish. Very good. Good right now, but should be good for another a year or so.

Rose pedals, cedar, plum on the nose. Smooth, nice med body, complex, leathery, but light tasting (especially lacking fruit) and finesse. opened at 9.30 for noon lunch. drink now. a little let down given it's a 2000 vintage and a second growth pontet

Strong blue/blackberry on the nose w/ caramel, vanilla. Very smooth, velvety, soft tannins, and long finish confirming the nose. Very good and almost CA Cab-like. I would think it's ready to drink now and will be good for another 2 years.

Nice earthy oregon smell along with cherry / blueberry. Also pick up cinnamon and cloves. Light to med body, tight tannins, but good balance. Nice long finish begging for another sip. Give another year or two in cellar.

Rich, some peppers, soft tannins, dark fruits, coffee, nice body, lingering finish. Not harsh, or overly fruity / sweet. May had another year for more balance, subtleness, but very good overall.

Nose is rose petals, cedar, sweet cigar. Palate is smooth, good body, elegant, w/ complexity (some fruit). Decent finish. Drank on Christmas eve at Hanohano room, Waikiki. Drink now. Probably will not improve with more cellar time.

Enjoyed w/ wife's mexican dishes - on the nose, cork / oak, dusty, aged smell in a good way with good dark fruits. On the palate smooth, good texture, very mellow, some pepper on the end and basically confirming nose. Nice long finish. Very evolved for shiraz being cellared short term. Drink now

typical mondavi cab in a good way. Nice bouquet of dark fruits, anise, vanilla, and some spice. On the palate, smooth, velvety, reflective of nose, some weight, but not so much depth as their reserves. Still has backbone to last a few more years. For the price, it was very good.

I can see I'm not the only one dissappointed by this wine. nice bouquet berry, plum, nice CA smell. On the palate, smooth, dark fruits, well rounded, but flat texture and no depth. Finish is iron / metalic and short. Decent, not good overall.
