Dark red, aromas of young leather, tobacco and coffee At taste smooth and balanced acid and tannin I wish I would have more bottles in my cellar storage.

Straight out of the bottle, the 2010 Langoa shows a nose of red and black cherry, cedar, rose, and moist black earth. This is still working on eating its oak and though that process is mostly complete, it will be quite a long wait for the tannins to mellow. The finish here is intensely cedary. This is a slow-burning Langoa which will takes a couple of decades to really show what it’s capable of doing.

By now, this 14 years old bottle is ready to drink. Please see my notes of 7/7/2022. It has improved since.
