Nose: cashew nuts, honey, tangerine oil, biscuits, hints of plum Notes: consumed after opening for 40 minutes and this is performing very nicely. I originally thought this would be way too young but this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. A big young and nutty nose with a nice saltiness in the aftertaste, this is a complex and refined Champagne that can certainly age for a long time but starting to show greatness even when consuming today. Not as flabby as most 06s and still showing good freshness, but I found the white chocolate notes the vintage imparts a bit offputting for my palate. A strong effort for the vintage but not worth the $$s for me

Stellar. Enjoyed at Benu in the most delicate champagne coupes I’ve ever used. Bright pineapple and lemon citrus with a round but precise body.
