Deep yellow color, heading toward amber. Aromas of orange, a hint of toasted hazelnut, baked apple, baked pear, and butterscotch. On the palate, this shows a marzipan, orange, and hazelnut trio of oxidative flavors, followed by vanilla, baked/oxidized apple, and a finish of butterscotch and nuts. Clearly old, but the oxidative elements aren't so bad that I dump it out. Drink up.

Golden color. Beautiful nose of flowers, apples, and a hint of hazelnuts. Super smooth on the palate. The vibrancy of youth has faded, but it has gained a wonderful depth and complexity.

Dead. Premoxed. Not slightly dead. But dead dead. With the bum 01 Ott, it was a bad night for wine in the winequant house.
