A dinner with Mr. Genchev (Bishop's Stortford): Excellent now, with vibrant fruit, freshness, and finely tuned balance. Wood is fully integrated. I was really enjoying the energy throughout, pure joy. And again, very impressed how the village level Burgundy is showing here - just entering optimum drinking window IMO.

Black fruits are maturing gracefully with subtle meaty notes, faintly spiced. At a very good place now. Good+ weight and volume for Village wine.

Disjointed. Lacking fruit. Varietal nose. Used in cooking beef stew.

Seattle Chevaliers dinner (Le Grand Bistro Américain, Kirkland, WA, USA): Round, warm, fairly easy and nice. Not profound but just delicious.
