Purchased a couple of these in 2012 and stored properly since. This needs a solid hour decant. Big inky grip up front that leads into a somewhat tame full bodied wine. Mostly resolved tannins. Nice finish, balance and fruit. I suspect this is in its prime but should drink well for at least 5 years. Revisit 2028

Frustratingly Fantastic. Opened after reading reviews here on CellarTracker, and I was led astray! Juicy, with a ton of acidity left and medium tannin. Could go another few years at least. Just barely into tertiary characteristics. They were prevalent on the nose, but the mouthfeel was quite youthful. If I had another, I wouldn't open until at least 2022+

Polished, decadent tannins. Gentle acidity. Sumptuous. Balanced fruit, oak, spice and earth. Finishes with subtlety if not slightly short but not insultingly so. Drinking well. Feel free to pop.

(Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon S.L.V.) Opaque purple red violet color; appealing, roasted berry, tart black fruit, sage nose; tart black fruit, tart berry palate with plush tannins; needs 2-3 years; medium-plus finish

Opened with air, fruit punchy and smooth, pleasing and resolved. Not a monster rather a restrained suave drink. Drink now.
