What I a nice surprise; I got at an auction as a mixed lot of SLWC for almost nothing, but this was excellent; mature, but beautiful clear ruby color; aged Bordeaux nose; good acidity; fruit fading a bit, but still nice finish and very good balance.

Wow. Lovely 25-year-old cabernet from Stags Leap. On the nose cedar, tobacco, and dark cherry, spice, pomegranate and marzipan. Tannins resolved with beautiful dark fruits dancing on the palate leading to a long finish. Perfect cork thanks to perfect storage for these years. Wish I had another bottle. It's not going to get better, but it's beautiful right nowl

Wonderfully fresh for it's age, classic cab aroma with damp earth and cedar wood, along with dark fruit notes. On the palette the tannins were very smooth but still seemed dominant to me. This was a wonderful treat given that this was my last bottle and the last time I had one was May 2000. I will miss this wine.

Nose of hot red currant and a pungent Bordeaux dustiness. Red currant and raspberry, perfectly integrated tannins, earthy with limestone and cobbles. Drink now.

Stag's Leap Library Wine Tasting (Heritage Gallery - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting, direct from the winery. Also good, surprisingly bright for its age. Very enjoyable now.
