Decanted for 60 minutes. Complex wine with dark fruit, spices, chocolate, minerals. Medium body and long finish. Drinking beautifully right now, but should be good for another 4 years or so.

Really pleased with this bottle. About an hour decant. Medium ruby colored. Stone fruit. Medium body and legs. Polished texture. Long finish. Low acid. Drinking well right now, but I think the drinking window will be open for 3-4 more years.

Deep, dark, reddish-purple garnet in color with very little signs of aging. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of floral & earthy/dusty notes, spices, minerals, some cocoa, herbal notes & vanilla/oak notes in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, herbs, cocoa, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & extended airing but should continue to develop with additional aging.

Will improve. 10 years may not hurt. Rather impressive on forst tasting with a Bordeaux green pepper element. Slight sweet end to this with strong fruit and energy. Drank next to a 01 Dominus it seemed rather brash and bolshy. Very good though with fresh elements.

Expected a bit more from it. It was bright tastinh with lots of wood/oak in it. Lacked a bit of depth of a typical cabernet in this price range.
