  • This wine was excellent! Rich nose with dark fruit, chocolate, tobacco nose. Rich flavors of dark red berries, currants, cherry. Dark rich chocolate and tobacco. Oak finish.

  • Christmas 06. Opened 5 hours before dinner, poured a little taste, then left the bottle in the cellar to "Audouze" for the afternoon. Cork was fine, color looks good with some minimal browning around the edge. First impressions: Strong nose of balsamic vinegar and currants, very strong off putting nose. A fair amount of nail polish varnish on the nose, this may be VA, I hope it blows off. Sweetness on the palate, with finely integrated tannins. The finish comes off as clipped and tart. More to come in a few hours....This has evolved into balsamic vinegar, best use at this point is cooking wine. Bummer.

  • Vibrant and Lively. Smooth tannins which were still powerful. Leather and cocoa flavors with a diminishing cherry up front. A bit of a short finish considering its still bold start. Didn't notice a dumb phase. A wonderful bottle who's tannins will last but its fruit is going. I highly recommend
