Unlike some older vintages, 2017 seems to be signing at the moment, and the les Fuées from Jadot is an excellent example for this! Very much still on primary notes, it already displays a fantastic balance and minerality that makes an adorable food companion. Balance, elegance and youthful poise come together to make this wine seductive at its youthful age. It has some decade to evolve, but the drinking window now is hard to resist.

Seductive aromas with delightful roses over concentrated red berries and salts. Medium full bodied and pronounced fresh wine. More richer style, yet slim and delicate. Good precise redberry feeling, light spices and salts. Good tannins. So far lacking some complexity, but indeed a very good wine. 92 points.

Louis Jadot Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 11, Visit 4) (Beaune): Barrel tasting at Jadot. Brighter red fruit vs Baudes, with more balance and elegant textures already. Big fruit start, good+ length and balance. 90-93 point potential.
