not bad but -really - I was expectng some more from BC 2008. Slow to open.with some oxigenation gets better, expressing some tertiary scents and some more complexity. Stucture is elegant but not enough powerful (medium bodied to be generous), quite anonymous, in a word. 4 bottles, decanted, at Garrick - dark, quite dense, ruby, little development; plum, cassis, mineral, some vanilla, attractive enough if not particularly complex or pure; medium bodied, ok length and persistence, slightly dilute, dry, slightly gravelly, tannins currently dominating muted fruit, some bottles more attractive, should be better in 5 years, no rush. VG (16).

Bright red and blue berries, toasted licorice, fennel and clove on the nose. Palate is a bit reserved compared to the aromatic nose. Penetrating gravel and herbs on the full-bodied mid-palate. This ends with a warm and fresh finish.
