Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Brick red.
Perfumy nose with red liquorice, florals, stewed prune, slight graphite and lovely sweet stone fruit notes - apricots.
Fullbodied palate with refreshing lively acidity. Dry and dark style, but showing some apple pure and stone fruit richness as well. Liquorice and some tarry nuances before the meaty stone dust finish of good length.
This scored really high on my personal ranking. A fun style and in a beautiful phase- especially considering the overall reputation of the vintage!
