EWS: A Study of Sangiovese with Ian D'Agata: Sour red fruit. Tight overall, succulent. Very expressive aromatically. Didn't have the balance and depth of '88 at this point. Plenty of time left.

While mature now, it retained a hardness that made it hard to like. Pretty dry in the finsh and now somewhat fruitless. Probably better younger. Disappointing.
