Deep garnet. Intoxicating nose of dark fruit and cedar. Tannins are well integrated. Fruit giving way to some spice. Green pepper. Good length. My only criticism, if any, is that I felt a little heat and alcohol on first taste. Still a great wine!

Deep indigo color in the glass. Blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate, a little licorice and some graphite on the finish. Nicely balanced, layered and complex. Opened, strained and decanted for an hour before tasting. This could have used another hour of air. Full bodied with a big "mouth feel" that really lasted. Maybe a 20 or 25 second finish. Very special and delicious.

Really great Napa wine if you are a fan of Bordeaux style. Short decant. Deep dark fruits with a subtlety and complexity that mean the fruit never leans over into dominating the wine. Nose is tremendous and a smooth finish. Highly recommend if you are a fan of French wine looking for something comparable in the New World.

Masraff's restaurant purchase. Cellar temp decant in bottle for about 1 hour. Plenty of primary fruit still integrating as earth and minerality notes were entering towards the end of dinner. I really enjoyed this bottle. My only complaint would be the new oak influence might have been a tad much for my palate but this might get worked out over time. 94+

Deep red color, great nose of dark cherries, raspberries, chocolate. Decanted 30 mins and continued strong over 2hours. Plenty of life at 10 easily another 10.
