Not often that you catch lighting in a bottle twice in one night. First the 69 BV GdL, then this. Great nose of currants, cherries, dark berries, pine resin, leather, and hints of spicy oak. On the palate, currants, black cherry, eucalyptus, tobacco. This evolved the most from bottle open to end of the night. Long finish with a big of grip. Perfect match for lamb. Drink or continue to hold over the near term. Tremendous bottle purchased from Heritage Auctions.

Amazing color and held up incredibly well for a 31-year-old wine!
