Excellent, 14% alc. Similar comment to July 2019. Colour: dark red berries, slightly cloudy, and crimson edges Bouquet: rich, sweet red berries, floral, slightly earthy and spicey, developed blackberry fruit and touches of mint and vanilla. Palate: as bouquet, opens out to big palate and then is slightly jammy, with chocolate, blueberry, big soft fine grained tannins, very dry long clean finish. Great balance and chalky character. Tucker Seabrook trade tasting (Redfern): McLaren Vale & Padthaway fruit. Black & inky fruits, large-scale, but sits largely on the front palate. Not exciting.

Tasted from the wine bar at Vintage Wines, Ltd. Bright disc. Opaque black robe with purple rim. Clean nose, very perfumy, with concurrent blackberry and vanilla aromas. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with firm, slightly chewy tannins and similar flavors as for the nose. Medium, slightly astringent finish.
