Vosne Romanee tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis): Medium intensity with red fruit, minerality. Seems to be (too) young? Medium+ acidity, medium tannins, medium finish. 90-91
Vines from 1910, 50% destemmed

Intensity medium(+). Strawberry, cherry. Acidity medium. Tannins medium. Finish medium(+). Although this PN was enjoyable, it seemed somehow a bit suppressed -not sure whether it was too young or too old.

Wines Tasted at the La Paulée Verticals Session (The Maybourne, Beverly Hills): Pale with browning. Secondary high toned perfume and spice. Lighter weight, delicate wine. Hard to pick out the primary fruit. Full of soil and ground coffee, excellent acidity, and overly dry, puckery finish given the modest volume of this wine. This is the third time I've had this. It seemed pretty much at its apex in 2017 and now seems on a fairly rapid downhill slope. Drink.

La Paulée de Los Angeles - The Verticals (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Walkaround vertical tasting. Rich and maturing gracefully. Nicely harmonious now. Best to enjoy over the next 3-5 years.
