All the 67's opened together and 30 minutes ahead and lasted for 3+ hrs.
Trotanoy (1 bottle; 93 pts) - best showing and liked by all, with most structure and complexity; earthy and a hint of mint Palmer (DQ) - oxidized L'Evangile (2 bottles; 90-91 pts) - lighter version the Trotanoy Gruaud Larose (1 magnum) (91 pts) - like it better than the L'Evangile as it was more complex Cheval Blanc (4 bottles) (91-94 pts) - likely bottle variations even though all is top shoulder; one of the 4 showing great complexity, while the other ones were lighter version Vieux Chateau Certan (3 magnums) (91-92 pts) - all is bottom neck; better than the L'Evangile and can be as good as the Cheval Blanc

Drank along with other 67 first growth. Took 15 minutes to open and lasted 2 hrs. Despite a non-bordeaux vintage, it was a very interesting experience.

Slightly musty and medicinal. Underneath real depth and quality fruit.

A softer expression of Trotanoy but not lacking in freshness. Velvety.

Kevin's MNSC (Amuse Bouche): best showing among the 67s (Petrus and Palmer). good balance with some good notes of black fruits and coffee.
