Trotanoy Vertical with Edouard Moueix (Nomad): What stood out with all these older Trotanoys is that they develop secondary aromas but don't really get to the tertiary state like most left bank Bordeaux. These wines remain remarkably dark, big, fruity and fresh. Trotanoy vertical 1945-1982 (+1998, 2009,2010)

At tasting/dinner at BLR and Diane's in Lafayette (contributed by MPL; with grilled shrimp, roast). A favorite of most. Very elegant.
