Half bottle @ 15% ABV
Color: very dark tawny brown gold with viscous legs
Nose: medium-full intensity. Complex sherry nose with warm buttery aromas.
Body/flavor: medium/full body. Sweet sherry flavors with some sharp notes. The half bottle is showing its age... still very enjoyable finish to NY Eve dinner.
Aftertaste: lingering

Tawny-brown color, clearly much further along than the '83 and '01s served either side of it. That said, the oxidation wasn't at all unpleasant, it was very much like drinking an amontillado--caramel, orange rind and earl grey tea.

Medium honey-amber gold color. Notes of agave syrup, allspice, honey, apricot, candied tangerine peel. Very nice.
