Shared with my brother after Thanksgiving as a birth year wine for him. Saturated and crumbly cork. I managed to get 3/4 out before it broke. The wine is deep amber in color. Sweet, honeyed almost liquor like nose. The first tase was honey, caramel, toffee and an oxidative note. The oxidative note blew off after a few minutes leaving a pure sweet, honey infused wine with a long finish. Lovely old sauterne.
