Nose of caramel and burnt sugar. It is captivating without saturating the senses.
Mouth of great freshness and suppleness on apricot, cinnamon and salted butter caramel. What a pleasure to drink a digestible Sauternes at the end of a meal! It is soft and racy at the same time, the wine imposes itself as quickly as the glass is empty. The apricot is omnipresent with a chocolate touch on the finish which gives this richness that we seek in Sauternes, with great length.
Excellent.

From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had a deep yellow/tan center and light yellow rims. The high intensity nose caramel, Cuban cigar, pear, apples, and minerals.
In the mouth, this was hugely rich and ripe with a great mouthfeel. There was a dollop of brown sugar and very good length.
I see no reason to wait. Enjoy!

Copper hued, the wine offers its honeyed pineapple, apricot, caramel, creme brulee, molasses and marzipan charms as soon as the wine hits your glass. Sweet and racy, with a beautiful apricot, caramel and butterscotch palate presence, the wine miraculously holds on to its sweetness and vibrant lift. For a wine of this quality, I think it still sells for a song at auction markets.

Warren's. Bourbon color, with profound notes of honey, candied oranges, apricot and a dash of dark chocolate. Finish went on forever. Pretty incredible.
