  Beautiful wine. Redolent of violets. Tasted blind, I would have thought I was in Romanee St. Vivant. Gorgeous fruit. Glossy, polished. I think it needs 2, maybe 3 years to reach its peak. At that time I expexct it to be a 98.

  This was not Mondavi's best effort. Given the label and the 'reserve' status, it was a bit thin, lacking notes and depth. Nothing wrong with it. Just not up to this vineyard's capabilities.
  
  Drink on a weeknight. Move on.
