  What a surprise.... I thought this 1989 Pinot would be thin and completely washed out.... After all, a 23 year old Pinot! Wrong! First impression: the color was beautiful...deep ruby red. The nose was nice....fresh and lively. Then, I sipped it, and I couldn't believe it.... Really nice.... A little lacking in fruit, but that's my only complaint. But then I realized that this will probably be one of the only 1989 Pinots that is consumed in this entire Cellar Tracker database!
