Not nearly as good as the previous couple of bottles. As B.B. King would say, 'The thrill is gone.' It's like the wine just shut down on all the things we liked with the previous bottles.

On P&P we found blueberry, spice, and a touch of earth on the nose. On the palate the blue fruit continued with strawberry, some cherry cough syrup, and a cigar note. Fine but significant tannins with medium acidity. We had high expectations for this wine after reading the reviews below, but we found it merely ‘good’ without anything to make it interesting or compelling. We might have rated it more highly if it were at a lower price point, but at $40-45 it’s an 88 for us.

Not your typical Zin. Approachable right out of the bottle. Very ripe strawberries on the nose and maybe a little bit of cedar and some graphite/minerality. Really well balanced with controlled tannins and a surprisingly long finish (compared to what I'm used to in Sonoma Zins). This is a beautiful wine! One review I read said this was the perfect Zin for Pinot drinkers. I think that really sums it up pretty well.

Inbetween the very good bottle and the so-so bottle.
