  • Iron, spice, dark fruit, and blood. Grand cru intensity but missing the Dujac finesse and delicacy tonight. A very good old burg, but expectation is always high when it comes to a Dujac, let alone a CDLR. It could be provenance issue nevertheless. 92-93

  • Tasted blind, this wine had a light red center and tawny/clear rims. The high- intensity nose showed cherries, molasses, roses, and minerals.

In the mouth, this wine was light and refined but it was full of flavor, had light tannins, and crisp acidity. It had a lovely long finish.

While this wine was not quite as good as a couple of the other big names on the table, who would have guessed it would have shown so well? The bottle was supposedly in perfect condition. Another milestone in the legend of Dujac!
