This was a bottle cellared from release (with much gratitude to the owner for bringing it) and in pristine shape, even holding a ruby core in the glass. Aromatics (94-95) were better than the cinnamon, berry, tea flavors (90+) which were clipped by acidity in the finish, though it was enjoyable on all fronts. No decant and it began fading after an hour.

Pristine bottle with amazing color. Perfectly mature with cinnamon spice and forest floor. Not necessarily an amazing wine but a great bottle that was fun to drink.

Coche Arbor 4. Stemmy. Cool blue fruit. Slight caramel notes. Light on palate.
