Large coravin pour, given 1-2 hours in the glass and tasted over about 30 minutes. This black cherry fruit forward with a translucent medium-dark ruby color. There was a good bit of baking spice, rose petals and a hint of chocolate as well. Medium acidity and a fairly chewy texture. Finish was moderately long. Slightly better than previous bottles.

Second bottle opened after making notes on the 2015 opened and described a few days ago . Again… an excellent impressive drinking Pinot but needed a few hours to open up and show its wonderful flavours and length.

Medium red, good acidity , a nose of fruit and flowers . Give this wine about an hour and then be ready to drink a fabulous Pinot . This is a well balanced wine with long length . The dark fruit flavours and sweetness linger on the palate . The tannins are soft. This has viscosity and weigh on the palate . An absolutely beautiful drinking wine. Impressive . Evolves with each glass . Wish I had kept more of this vintage !!! A tribute to what an exceptional American Pinot can achieve.

Decanted 1.5 hours before first glass. Red fruits, predominately cherry, but tasted somewhat lean with a short finish. By hour 3, the wine had filled out and added savory notes. Last glass was the best but the bottle didn’t live up to the price point.

Outrageous red and purple fruit acesents, depth and subtle finish that lingers with some umami notes of dried fruit. Overal fantastic!
