I wasn't expecting much from this wine given it's age and having no idea of it's provenance (bought on bidforwine.co.uk) but it is a delight. Subtle, almost Volnay-esque in nature, although slightly coarse (may improve after being decanted for a while) and short-ish finish.
....and I know, I am crap at writing tasting notes.

Tasting of 7 Pinot Noirs.
Nice fruit on the nose, definite fruit in the mouth, big tannin in the mouth and finish.
My #3 of 7.
