Blinded. Nose was very green/herbal, with red fruit underneath you can get to. Palate was a high tannins, good acidity but hard to get past the greeness. Guessed some old vine obscure region. Fun to try, but not sure i'm a fan of this.

Bouchon un peu entamé. Robe encore jeune. Nez fort plaisant, plutôt complexe. Bouche un peu sur la retenue même au fil du repas. Au final, je ne peux pas dire que je n’ai pas aimé ni que j’ai aimé. Le vin m’a intrigué. Si j’en avais encore, je tenterai une aération prolongée et/ou d’oublier encore des bouteilles en cave.

Irancy (L' Hexagone): Typical 2014 . vegetal. high acidity. racy. and the acidity brings out the astringency. Tannins are clearly present. Straight from the bottle on a too low temperature was not so enjoyable on the pallet. Nose was amazing from moment one: marsannay kind of nose. Absence of the weird pommegrenate / wild red fruit / horse raddish kind of aromas that i find in most dauvissat's reds.
Later the pallet became much more enjoyable. Good length. balance was still a bit off with a too pronounced acidity but ok.
