  Great wine thanks to Chris C for bringing this. Lovely cherry fruit nose which was fairly pure to the nose aroma wise. In mouth the wine was still possessing acidity at 10 years +. This is still developing and an enormous wine in mouth. I don't know where to start. I get barrel aging, I get the cherry fruit, I even get iron notes. What I don't get is that background note. I sense bay leaf, underbrush, some mushroom, and even charcoal. This is a tremendous wine.

  Not significantly different from my previous note, but the tannins are more integrated. There is a sense of this being both more delicate but more highly perfumed. Really aromatic florals on the nose and just beautiful structure.

  Magnificent. Delicate and perfumed for a Brunello, this is not your Parker fruit bomb. Floral-led cherries with some stunning minerality and really aromatic secondary notes that waver between herbal and feral. Finish is pure finesse, with fine grained tannins and mineral laced berries.
