Bright, crisp, sweet, and honeyed yellow tropical fruits, candied lemons, mango, and a touch of lemon chiffon pie all drizzled with honey and ginger are made even better by its vibrant, up-beat acidities. Drink it now, or age it for more caramel, either way, it is a beauty. Drink from 2024-2038.

UGC Bordeaux 2021, SF: Quite sweet and simple. This can age for decades, but at this point it lacks complexity and I don't think it will be much better than good.

UGC 2021 Bordeaux (Vibiana, Los Angeles, CA): The nose is succulent and fresh with nectarines, apricots, peaches, creamy notes, elderflowers, meyer lemons, orange peels, and vanilla beans. There is good depth with a lovely balance to the tones as they show more of a stone fruit quality. The Medium/full bodied is beautifully textured and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity. The feel is deft and shows some youth. This is a lovely, mid-weight Sauternes that will develop at an earlier age but still provide plenty of joy for years to come.

A whiff of honey, medium sweetness, but missing the zest to match with the sweetness.

Union Des Grands Crus Bordeaux (New York City, NY, USA): Honey, beeswax, over-ripe stone fruit. Stony minerals as well. but lacking a little density and brightness. Still quite nice, but not top tier for me today.
