Honey, saffron, burnt sugar, oranges; very sweet, full bodied, but still retaining freshness. Very good sense of place and tipicity, quite complex, and a long finish. Solid vintage of Sigalas ready to drink. 17.5/20

Half-bottle. Nose of oak, cardboard, and a hint of caramel. Very syrupy palate: flavours of honey, maple, and tonic, with complex secondary flavours in the background.

Purchased at the Chateau. Luscious honeyed apricot, textured and full. Long finish, full bodied and excellent balance between alcohol and searing acidity. Still fresh and young but also can easily be drunk. Delish.

Tasted next to 2015. Richer, heavier in comparison. Burnt sugar, honey, dried fruit, spices. Nice acidity, quite complex and long. 91-93

Intense sweet, nice complexity, but in my view lagging a bit behind in comparison to other years.
