The nose shows it, tight and soft medicinal , worryingly so but we have seen this before where in young Baroli this is so at the start of their life. Give this more time in the cellar and really a shame to open it this young. 91 for now but with a future

Öga: Snyggt blodröd med bruna toner och ett nästan oljigt täcke. Näsa: Bär och blöt skog. Mun: sträva bär övergår i peppar och en antydan till bärsötma och blött trä. Avslutningen är lång med lingon, körsbär och kryddhetta och sitter länge kvar på tungan. Något sluten fortfarande, men ändå riktigt bra redan nu och med en stor utvecklingspotential.

Praelum - The Winefather (Praelum Wine Bistro): Powerful and complex nose of cherries, coffee, chocolate, grass. Tasted mostly mouth-drying tannins, bit of grass and oak, and a hit of whatever left of the acids and alcohol towards the back. Underdelivered

A modernist style - very oaky, with some rose petals on the nose. On the palate, some red fruit, balanced, and a full mid palate body with good structure. Somewhat woody. I'm not really a fan of the modernist style of Barolo but many people at the tasting loved it.
