La Paulee NYC 2022 walkaround tasting Blockbuster of black fruits, with a block of tannins. Not very complex, but very long and very powerful and quite old style clos de vougeot. A wine that will need a long snooze in a cold cellar before becoming friendly...Nevertheless this is very well made provided you have the patience...this is a good candidate for being listed in my will if I ever purchase it....

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Walk around tasting. This trio of 2018s are all dense, powerful, and backward. This wine is the most concentrated with the most dry extract, but also really brooding now. This again seems like old school Faiveley in terms of structure, but much cleaner than those wines of a bygone era. Don't even think of opening for a couple of decades, 2038 forward.
