  • Showing some age in the color and on the nose.
Dried red fruit and tobacco, clean and precise but somewhat tired.
Texturally wonderful on the entry but grippy tannin and moderate acidity make for a bit of an astringent experience.
Good not great might be in a weird stage.
    Try again in 3-5.

  • A superb wine with great potential to develop, in an opaque purplish colour, smooth and yet dense palate, striking youthfulness, and strong spicy, ripe black fruits. A little closed at the moment! I had an hour of decant, it is clearly not long enough in my view, would rather hold it for a few years to see how it goes! Drink now with a lengthy decant or in the coming ten to fifteen years.

  • Davyd's Bday celebration at ESBK. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour with a purplish tinge. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of expensive milk chocolate oak, cedarwood, perfumed spices, licorice, cassis, minty herb, boysenberries, dark red cherries, deep red plums, earth. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), plush velvety high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of mint herbs, cedarwood, cassis, deep red plums, dark red cherries, boysenberries, light earth. Very long plush finish.
Excellent quality. Already drinking so well. Sitting in small decanter over 2.5 hours, it started off very balanced, but lost a bit of that with more air - becoming sweeter darker.

  • Super impressive. Glossy creamy chocolate, coffee and wet stone. Great balance.
